However, the wine’s velvety structure means it can be drunk in 2-3 years or cellared for 25+.”
“Good medium ruby. A compote of red, black and blue fruits on the nose, lifted by spicy oak. Suave and silky on the palate, with fully ripe flavors of red berries, blueberry, smoke and pepper. Finishes broad, dry and seriously long, with big, smooth tannins and very good focus. Lovely fruit here.”

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, OakvilleMorlet's approach to winemaking is minimalist and Old World in style, using classical techniques from Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne.
The grapes are picked by hand, then destemmed and double-sorted when they reach the St. Helena winery. Native yeasts carry out the fermentation process, and wines are aged in French oak barrels before release.
