The winery quickly rose to fame when the 2008 vintage of their Estate Cabernet Sauvignon scored 98 points with the American wine critic Robert Parker. The winery sits at 1800ft above the Napa Valley floor on Howell Mountain, where 54 acres of organically farmed vineyards are planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eCade produces a Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the estate property, as well as their Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Additionally, another Cabernet blend is made, sourced from vineyards in Saint Helena, Oak Knoll, and Calistoga. Finally, a Sauvignon Blanc is produced from a vineyard in the Oakville AVA.
