There is also a small amount of\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eCabernet Franc\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eplanted. However, this not used in the Le Pin wine, and is gradually being replaced by Merlot.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLe Pin is named after two pine trees at the vineyard. It appears ready to drink but will undoubtedly take on more delineation and structure as its ages in the bottle. It is a luxuriously rich decadent 100% Merlot that will be at its finest between 2004-2015.
