It exhibits a black cherry, blackberry, licorice, and violet-scented nose that leads to its explosive, immensely flavorful character. Medium to full-bodied and pure, this fresh, sweet wine is packed to the gills with cherries, raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries. Ample yet highly delineated, it has a magnificently long, fruit-filled finish. There is excellent volume to the exceptionally rich, powerful and lush medium weight plus flavors that possess excellent finishing depth and length. There is so much richness that it could certainly be approached now with pleasure though I will continue to hold my bottles as there is some additional upside development potential remaining. Note that one other recent bottle displayed a noticeably lactic character on the nose and tired and flat flavors. Why I cannot say as the two bottles came out of the same case.
