Although uncomplex, the nose offers sweet, curranty fruit, and damp, earthy, foresty aromas. The wine's attack reveals sweet, full-bodied, cherry and black fruit flavors, and a robust, concentrated finish. The coarse, astringent tannin kept my score from going higher.
