Louis Jadot owns land in some of Burgundy's most famous vineyards, including Le Musigny, Échezeaux, Chapelle-Chambertin and in the famously fragmented Clos de Vougeot vineyard. There is good concentration and density here and mouth coating tannins that are firm but not hard and unlike the Clos St. Denis, there is no finishing astringency. This will require the better part of a decade to soften its substantial structure. By the standards of the vintage, this is a very serious wine.
