| Burghound | 98 BH - The color is no longer deep ruby but there is no bricking at all. A nose of incredible purity and elegance explodes from the glass with fresh and spicy black fruit aromas that are quite remarkably almost entirely primary in character followed by precise, sweet, round and perfectly balanced medium full flavors of quite simply unbelievable length. This quite reminds me of the '62 La Tâche as there is the same spiritual quality of immaculate calm and a certain cool reserve yet the flavors and finish are generous and warm.
