Domaine Perrot-Minot makes wine from seven grand cru vineyards, notably Chambertin, Clos-de-Bèze and Clos de Vougeot, as well as an array of premier crus. The yields are tightly limited and green harvesting is practiced in specific parcels so that some vines produce as few as five bunches of grapes.

Burghound 94 BH - There is mild reduction here as well but it does not significantly hinder the evaluation of the spicy dark berry fruit and pungent earth aromas that precede the textured, intense and mouth coating big-bodied and overtly muscular flavors which are naturally sweet, rich and powerful with fine but dense tannins that shape the wonderfully persistent finish. Despite the reduction, it's clear that this is a dramatic wine that possesses excellent depth of character.
