2003 Tua Rita Perlato del Bosco Vino da Tavola Tua Rita’s 2003 Perlato del Bosco, 65% Sangiovese, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Syrah is less successful than the 2004. Both bottles I tasted presented a decidedly more rustic personality, with suggestions of herbs, earthiness, game and over-ripe fruit. Though lush and open on the palate, the 2003 is also penalized by its somewhat green, unripe tannins, a characteristic of the vintage. RP
