Spring Mountain
1978 Cabernet Sauvignon, North CoastSpring Mountain Vineyard is a historic Napa Valley wine producer located on the eastern slopes of Spring Mountain. The estate received international recognition when its Chardonnay placed fourth among French and American white wines at the historic Judgment of Paris in 1976.
The majority of the estate's vineyards are planted to red varieties – primarily Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot – but select blocks of Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Semillon, Viognier, Muscadelle and Sauvignon Blanc are also planted.
One bottle, 750 ml, of the 1978 vintage.
