“The 2000 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard reveals a dense plum/ruby color. The wine possesses floral notes along with black cherries, hints of sassafras, and a medium-bodied, oaky but tasty, fleshy style. It should improve with bottle age, and may merit an outstanding score.”
“Smoky, leesy aromas of hazelnut, dried apricot, overripe Bosc pear and orange peel. Sweet, rich and mouthfilling, with rich citrus and more exotic fruits nicely shaped by harmonious acidity. Wears its 15% alcohol gracefully.”
