“2001 Alban Vineyards Lorraine Vineyard Estate Syrah - 94 pts Named after John Alban's raven-haired wife, the 2001 Syrah Lorraine Vineyard (150 six-packs) exhibits a saturated purple color to the rim along with explosive aromas of acacia flowers and blackberries, full body, and admirable acidity. Impressively endowed, thick, and multilayered with considerable flavor dimension as well as character, it will drink beautifully for a decade or more. RP”
