2013 Valpolicella Blend, VeronaVerona IGT is just one of several IGT (or IGP: Indicazione Geografica Tipica/Protetta) titles used in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy. As implied by the title, its viticultural area covers the province of Verona.
The key red wine grapes used in these wines include the key varieties of Valpolicella headed by Corvina and Corvinone. The Bordeaux red varieties, including Carmenère, are also prominent.
