| Robert Parker | 98+ RP - Composed of the best fruit from the Las Piedras, Dr. Crane and To Kalon vineyards and aged for 20 months in 100% new French oak, the very deep purple-black colored 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Magnificent Seven comes strutting out of the glass like a rock star with decadent notions of crème de cassis, baked plums, Black Forest cake and licorice with hints of cedar chest, dark chocolate, mossy bark and truffles. Full-bodied, super concentrated and with a rock-solid frame of ripe, grainy tannins, it has seamless freshness knitting together the many layers of flavors, finishing on a lingering earthy note. Only 25 cases were made. |
