Robert Parker 93 RP - The 2018 Merlot is a blend of 78% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, the nose is redolent of lifted plum preserves, violets, dark chocolate, licorice and fallen leaves. Full-bodied, the generous fruit is very bright and crunchy in the mouth with loads of earthy sparks and soft, rounded, pebble-like tannins, finishing long and vivacious.

    Antonio Galloni Rating 94 AG - The 2018 Merlot Ecotone Vineyard is a powerful, brooding wine. Dried rose petal, mint and grilled herbs add an attractive savory component. This is a decidedly potent style. Some rough edges remain, suggesting a work in progress. There is certainly no lack of personality or character, that much is obvious.
