Williams Selyem found its success buying and bottling single-vineyard wines, with Pinot Noir as the focus. Single-vineyard wines were not new to California, but the first for Williams Selyem was its 1985 Rochioli Vineyard Pinot Noir.
While Pinot Noir dominates production, Williams Selyem also makes a small amount of Chardonnay, Zinfandel, and a Port-style fortified dessert wine. These offerings vary in production from year to year but many also carry single-vineyard designations.

| Robert Parker Rating | Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2018 Pinot Noir Russian River Valley has an open, inviting nose of charcuterie, warm blackberries and cranberries, licorice and bark. Light to medium-bodied, it's restrained and super spicy in the mouth with a fine grain and long, fresh finish. |

| Antonio Galloni Rating | The 2018 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley) is plump and juicy, with a lovely sense of immediacy that runs through it. Sweet red/purplish berry fruit, wild flowers, mint and cinnamon are all nicely kicked up in this mid-weight, gracious appellation-level Pinot from Williams Selyem. |

| Wine Spectator Rating | Dried red berry and cherry flavors lengthen out nicely, with sandalwood and cardamom notes. Refined minerality lingers on the finish, with fresh acidity. |
