PerUs Ruby Red 2013 is the first vintage for this new winery. PerUs is a Napa-based operation headed by financier Anmol Bhandari, with Russell Bevan as head winemaker and British super-somm Ronan Sayburn as an advisor. Russell Bevan is most known for making his own richly focused wines under his Bevan Cellars label but is also known for his efforts at Harbison and Chateau Boswell. Russell is gregarious, larger-than-life and a lot of fun to hang out with but when it comes to winemaking, he is knee-deep in the vineyards and extremely precise with his winemaking process.
