| Robert Parker | 97 RP - The 2018 Rhadamanthus is a single-vineyard wine coming from the old Revery vineyard on Diamond Mountain. It is a blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, all co-fermented. Deep garnet-purple, it comes barreling out of the glass with bold scents of black cherries, blueberry compote and warm cassis with hints of roses, clove oil, tilled soil and chocolate box. Medium-bodied, the beguiling black fruits are simply ethereal, dancing on the palate with beautiful mineral accents, supported by firm, fine-grained tannins and bold freshness, culminating in a long, perfumed finish. |
