Dana Estates es la tercera bodega que ocupa este terreno de viñedos en el corazón del famoso Rutherford Bench. Cultivado y desarrollado por primera vez por el viticultor alemán H. W. Helms en 1883, fue adquirido en 1976 por John y Diane Livingston y sirvió como sede de la bodega Livingston Moffett hasta que el propietario Hi Sang Lee compró la propiedad en 2005. La bodega fue rediseñada por el reconocido arquitecto Howard Backen, manteniendo los muros de piedra originales como pieza central. Hi Sang y Howard trabajaron cuidadosamente con los enólogos Philippe Melka y Cameron Vawter para asegurar que el espacio y las instalaciones permitieran la producción de vinos de clase mundial de manera constante.
