Una de las bodegas más apasionantes de California, esta hermosa propiedad pertenece al inglés Sir Peter Michael. Cuando fundó esta bodega, Michael tuvo la visión de contratar originalmente a la brillante Helen Turley para supervisar la elaboración del vino. El equipo actual de viñedos y enología, Nicolas Morlet, quien tomó el relevo de su hermano Luc, comparte la filosofía enológica de la Sra. Turley.
Tanto las añadas presentes como las futuras son vinos irrefutablemente brillantes. Peter Michael también produce sorprendentes Cabernet, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir y Sauvignon Blanc de viñedo único. Peter Michael Winery sigue siendo una finca de propiedad familiar dirigida actualmente por Paul, el hijo de Peter. Solo una pequeña cantidad de cajas llega al mercado minorista, ya que la mayoría se reserva para la lista de distribución y para la clientela habitual de los restaurantes.
