Esta hermosa bodega, una de las más fascinantes de California, es propiedad del inglés Sir Peter Michael. Cuando fundó esta bodega, Michael tuvo la visión de contratar inicialmente a la brillante Helen Turley para supervisar la vinificación. El equipo actual de viñedo y enología, Nicolas Morlet, quien tomó el relevo de su hermano Luc, comparte la filosofía de vinificación de la Sra. Turley.
Tanto las añadas presentes como las futuras son vinos indiscutiblemente brillantes. Peter Michael también produce asombrosos vinos de pago único de Cabernet, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir y Sauvignon Blanc. Peter Michael Winery sigue siendo una finca familiar que ahora dirige Paul, hijo de Peter. Solo una pequeña cantidad de cajas llega al mercado minorista, ya que la mayoría se reserva para la lista de distribución y para la clientela de restaurantes a largo plazo.
