Una de las bodegas más fascinantes de California, esta hermosa propiedad es propiedad del inglés Sir Peter Michael. Cuando puso en marcha esta bodega, Michael tuvo la visión de contratar inicialmente a la brillante Helen Turley para supervisar la elaboración del vino. El equipo actual de viñedos y enología, Nicolas Morlet, quien tomó el relevo de su hermano Luc, comparte la filosofía enológica de la Sra. Turley.
Tanto las añadas actuales como las futuras son vinos irrefutablemente brillantes. Peter Michael también produce increíbles vinos monovarietales de Cabernet, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir y Sauvignon Blanc. Peter Michael Winery sigue siendo una finca de propiedad familiar que ahora dirige Paul, hijo de Peter. Solo un pequeño número de cajas llega al mercado minorista, ya que la mayoría se reserva para la lista de correo y la clientela habitual de los restaurantes.
