Orin Swift Cellars es una marca de vinos californiana pionera, que pasó de ser un pequeño proyecto de producción a un imperio de vinos distribuidos por todo el mundo. El vino 'The Prisoner', con su envase distintivo, se convirtió además en un éxito comercial.
La empresa fue fundada por David Swift Phinney, quien se inició en el mundo del vino durante un viaje a Italia en su época universitaria. Tras graduarse, trabajó en la bodega Robert Mondavi como temporero de vendimia antes de fundar su propia empresa en 1998. Orin es el segundo nombre de su padre, mientras que Swift es el apellido de soltera de su madre.
