Los sabores a fruta roja ácida ganan profundidad y dulzor al airearse, inclinándose hacia la mermelada de cereza y el pan de especias, con taninos sedosos que aportan estructura. Este vino, muy bien enfocado y tenso, termina con un empuje excelente y una persistencia especiada. Cabral dijo con pesar que "la gente se lo beberá demasiado joven, como de costumbre, simplemente porque no tiene una designación de viñedo".”
