2003 卡本內蘇維濃, 北岸Shafer Vineyards 是位於納帕谷 Stags Leap 地區的一家家族酒莊。該酒莊以 Hillside Select 赤霞珠酒聞名，被譽為加州最頂尖的葡萄酒之一。Shafer Vineyards 於 1978 年推出首款葡萄酒，是 Stags Leap AVA 地區的創立酒莊之一，也是其品質的基準。Hillside Select 的評分一直極為穩定，落在 97 至 100 分之間。
Shafer 在 Stags Leap 地區擁有約 140 英畝的葡萄園，遍布數處葡萄園地。Hillside Estate 葡萄園的土壤較淺且排水良好，可孕育出小巧、風味濃郁的果實。最優質的葡萄塊用於釀造 Hillside Select，這是一款充滿李子與櫻桃風味、單寧成熟的葡萄酒，可陳年十年以上。
