Petrus 毫無疑問是波美羅地區最重要的葡萄酒，也是波爾多最著名的酒莊之一。這款以梅洛為基底的葡萄酒來自波美羅法定產區東部一座 11.4 公頃（28 英畝）的葡萄園，以濃郁強勁著稱，帶有巧克力、香料與黑果香氣。Petrus 是全球最受收藏且最昂貴的葡萄酒之一。
原有的 7 公頃（17 英畝）葡萄園坐落於一座土丘上，土壤幾乎全為黏土，與周邊土壤中含有較多礫石或沙子的酒莊不同。高黏土含量特別適合梅洛葡萄——獨特的第二層緻密藍黏土迫使根系向橫向延伸。此特徵通常被認為賦予了 Petrus 柔順而豐沛的單寧。其餘葡萄園則於 1969 年從鄰近的 Gazin 酒莊購得。
