1981 卡本內蘇維濃, 聖克拉拉谷大衛布魯斯酒莊是12家參加如今聞名的1976年「巴黎審判」的加州酒莊之一，當時加州的黑陳酒與霞多麗白酒在法國進行的盲測中，得分超過法國波爾多與勃根地酒款。自那以後，大衛布魯斯的葡萄酒在各項品酒比賽中皆屢獲殊榮。
