自 1961 年成立以來，Heitz Cellar 一直由家族經營，其傳承之深，如納帕谷的根脈般遍及全谷；這家酒莊傳奇，亦協助形塑了納帕谷釀酒業的歷史。1950 年代末期，開拓性釀酒師 Joe Heitz 以其具代表性、享譽全球的葡萄酒，包括納帕谷首家標示葡萄園的赤霞珠，以及享譽盛名的 Heitz Cellar Martha’s Vineyard，開啟了納帕谷的現代化時代。Heitz 家族在葡萄栽培、土地管理與經典釀酒工藝上深耕了 58 年，維持了酒莊在加州與歐洲同儕中作為標竿的知名地位。
