龐特-卡內酒莊由美鐸王室總督龐特·讓-弗朗索瓦於 18 世紀 20 年代創立，他將數塊波雅克葡萄園併入酒莊。其後裔又增購了卡內附近的鄰近地塊。酒莊直到 1972 年才開始自行裝瓶。
自 1975 年起，龐特-卡內酒莊便由享譽法國干邑的泰塞隆家族擁有。在家族掌控下，酒質大幅提升，拍賣價格與知名度也隨之攀升。龐特-卡內以赤霞珠為主，酒體飽滿，具備極佳的長期陳年潛力。
